A change in my lifestyle
As I run to catch the last shuttle back to campus, I long for the days when I had a chauffeur driven car available at my beck and call. Back in New Delhi I had wake up calls from mom, weekend breakfast in bed - a life that didn’t include doing ones own laundry or vacuuming the room. Leaving the luxuries and comforts of home behind made me realize how dependent a lifestyle I was living and how independent I have become just a month into college.

Each day has been a different experience, whether paying my own phone bill or doing my laundry for the first time. America has transformed me into an independent person, helping me make my own decisions, and solving my own crises or problems.
